Talent Central announces new classes

New classes are now forming at Talent Central, Gallions Reach Shopping Park. Boys and girls of all ages are invited to sign up for autumn classes which include Tumble Tots, Jitterbugs, Cheerleading, Street Dance, Fit for Sport, Open Gym and Sport Injury clinics. Talent Central is the home of the British Champion Ascension Eagles Cheerleaders.

Talent Central Tumble Tots is the newest class, which has formed in response to parents' requests for sessions for toddlers who are walking up to three years of age. Gymnastic Coach Gareth Green explains that parents and their budding athletes will rotate among activity stations during the hour-long sessions.

Coach Gareth said,"Talent Central Tumble Tots develop motor skills through gymnastics and rebound exercises, while improving overall fitness and strength, as well asself-confidence and social skills. Italso feeds in to our other classes, enabling us to serve the community moreeffectively."

Parent Emma Jane Foster has two older children -- Sherelle 13 and Tristan11 -- who are Ascension Eagles National Champions. Her youngest son Raine, aged two, is looking forward to Talent Central's new Tumble Tots programme. Emma Jane said, "Talent Central is a great place to be. The coaches really care about the kids, and they celebrate together whenthey master new stunts, skills and tumbles. Talent Central is a supportiveplace for kids to grow up, so starting them young is an added bonus."

Talent Central is London's premiere cheer gym, and offers a full spring floor, Air TumbleTrack, matted training areas and mirrored walls. The 6000 square feet venue is available for event hire, castings, rehearsals and collaborative projects with other community groups. In addition to its proximity to a great range of shopping and eating establishments, Talent Central also has plenty of free parking.

Talent Central staff have received national and international recognition. All of the coaches are certified with the International All Star Federation (IASF), which is recognized in 80 countriesworldwide. Coach Gareth Green isalso registered with British Gymnastics, and has a background in working withyoung people with disabilities. CoachGareth was "Highly Commended" at the 2010 National Sports Teachers Awards(AVIVA).

Coach Gareth's wife, Angela Green, is Talent Central's Programme Manager, and a founding member of the Ascension Eagles. Coach Angela was recently selected as one of 15 coaches worldwide to be part of the "IASF Next Generation Leaders." In addition to her extensive coaching work, Angela has also served as choreographer for the UEFA Super Cup Monaco and numerous FA Cup events over the past seven years. Last May, Angela was invited to Buckingham Palace and was recognized by the Queen for heroutstanding contributions to young people.

Coach Angela said, "Everything we do at Talent Central is cross-training for life. Our athletes are gaining more than just fitness skills, they are learning about teamwork, trust, courage, commitment,excellence and integrity; most importantly, they have fun doing it. We have a fantastic coaching staff, who have grown up in the AEC programme, and who continue to inspire new generations of young people."
